When it Happens (Don't Mind Me)

[Liara]

“I’ve never had Thai.” Selene admitted as she kissed his chest. “Maybe you could bring those mangoes too. Do they go with Thai?”

[Clint Cross]

"Oh yeah... but I am actually kind of shocked you never had Thai." Clint said with a smile. "Entirely a reason to come back here tonight with take out." he ran his fingers across her back. "Not that I need mangoes and Thai food as a reason to come back."

[Liara]

“Who said you get to come back tonight?” Selene said with a raised eyebrow. “For all I know you’re a one hit wonder.”

[Clint Cross]

Clint looked at her and smirked. "Oh really? So what would guarantee another date?" he raised an eyebrow. "Four hour O?"

[Liara]

"Well, Cross, we already knocked number one off that list." Selene said as she moved on top of him. "And I've had my hand on you for a good ten minutes. I'm either getting rusty or..."

[Clint Cross]

"Or you're learning that good things come to those who wait..." Clint said with a smile and put his hands on her hips. "Round two... Ding!"

[Liara]

The sound of birds chirping at the window woke Selene. Clint was pressed tightly against his arm holding her to him. It was an intimate embrace she’d never allowed before. Actually, he was the first man she’d never been with in the morning. Not even Lucius had the privilege.

Morning. Sunlight was already streaming in through the windows filling the apartment with a glow. Selene reached for the clock to check the time.

“Clint,” She said softly trying to wake him. “Clint wake up.”

[Clint Cross]

Clint opened one eye and glanced at her, "Ugh.. don't tell me... I'm late?" he opened the other eye. "So much for round four."

[Liara]

She laughed softly, “So much for a shower.”

[Clint Cross]

"That's what they invented spray cologne for." Clint said as he rolled out of bed. "I'd entirely blow off breakfast but if I stayed too long, they'd send a search party. I'll just say I was taking care of business with a new agent. Not entirely a lie." he kissed her cheek. "You a coffee or tea in the morning person? I'm sure Tali left some tea up here, but if you want coffee Joe brews a mean cup of java. Better than that mermaid place." he said as he got dressed and used his buffer band and got some body spray. "That'll be good enough..." He mused and sprayed himself and put it back into his buffer. "Best piece of tech ever... buffer bands. I'll have to get you one."
