"I wouldn't be surprised if you saw her again. I met my grown granddaughter before she was even born. And there are two of both your father, myself, and Clint."

"Probably infinite versions of her. Technically there is a version of her somewhere on planet with a version of Nancy, unless they went off world and raised their daughter together." Angel chuckled. "You were always more 'mom' than she was. I'm honestly glad our kids got married, at least the future versions of them. I'm not going to push these two." she gestured to the smaller versions playing in the sand. "If it happens it happens, if it doesn't that's fine too. Of course, I still want future Trinity back. But something tells me she'll turn up on her own. It's been long enough that Bellatrix will either tire of her and she'll just find her way home or it'll get to the point where she escapes. That dark version of you... it was chilling how un-insane she is. Dominus is just batshit crazy and sadistic just like Jackson, worse even. But she... she had this calm and this tactical mind. Cruel, yet nothing was just random. It had a purpose."

Rebecca nodded, "As if I don't care what it takes to accomplish my goals. I saw that in myself when I held my kliden to Bartym's neck. It scared me, and fear leads you down the path of the Ajem. So, I walked away."

A young Xenexian girl came bouncing up to them. She was soaked in sea water, covered in sand, and had sea weed in her hair. She looked every bit as crazy as Dominus. Rebecca laughed, and the two exchanged a conversation of broken English and Xenexian. Neither being fluent in the other's language.

She plopped down next to Ethan and Trinity where they continued their conversation in that weird little hybrid language, which sounded like a native language off of their pliable tongues. An odd rolling of consonants and vowels the sounded distinctly alien.

Rebecca smiled down at Kim, "She's a good kid. She has a lot of issues, but her therapist has been really helpful."

"Of course she has issues, she's a Xenexian around a bunch of Terrans." Angel chuckled. "You've met my sister in law... she stabbed Nathan with a fork when they first met. Was like 13 years old and already had stolen a ship and was doing smuggling runs. But they're quite adept at finding a way to fit in." she looked at the girl. "I have to remember to ask Jack to help me brush up on my Xenexian. I thought i was telling someone, you're welcome to come up to my ship sometime. I was really saying 'you're welcome to sodomize my ship in the morning.' They laughed and i had no idea why... until Kinsey told me."

Rebecca laughed, "It's a hard language to learn. Maybe even harder than English. The Xenexian government wanted to take her from me. And, I was willing you know. But, her case worker saw how attached she was to me decided that it was in her best interests to stay with me."

[Angel Ryder]

"They are trying to repopulate, I know for a minute there they wanted Kinsey's daughter Mackenzie to enter into a sort of arranged marriage. Which was sort of the reason why the older Mackenzie married JT Kirk. Jack's been working on ways to make Xenexians more compatible with other races to help the process. Otherwise it's getting way too much like eugenics." she smiled slightly. "Besides, Ethan could use an older sister closer to his age. I'm pretty sure Bella had a hand in that, she's been working very closely with the adoption agencies and the Orphan Colony since the attack. Still lots of kids that need a loving home."

"They are good together. I went on that mission worried about my family and some how at the end it grew, and I think in the end it will be for the better."

[Angel Ryder]

"Y'know family gets larger and larger and smaller at the same time." Angel said and sighed. "Glad we still have you. Still, I'm serious. Move in with me. I even have a nice command center in the basement in case your Jase'dasis buddies need something. Big room for the kids." she reached into her beach bag and handed her a small silk pouch. "Think about it, door's always open for you. Key and security access chip. You took care of me, I think it's more than past the time I returned the favor."

"I have my place in New Aspen." She shrugged, "But, for the kids maybe I could stay with you for a while. I can tell Ethan already adores your daughter."

[Angel Ryder]

"Of course he does, she IS adorable." Angel chuckled and took a sip of her tea. "Warmer than New Aspen anyway and the girl will enjoy the beach on a daily basis. Kinsey and Keira did when Jack still had his first beach house. Heh... Keira, when she first came to Terra Alpha as a little girl, she was obsessed with the dolphins out there, one night she got out of her room, scared the crap out of Jack and Kins, waded out into the ocean, at night... in just her night dress and almost drowned. Wanted to swim with the dolphins. Was almost too adorable, scary but adorable. When he told me I had the Marine Life center take her out to their little enclosure so she could actually swim with them safely. Only about ten fifteen minutes from here down that way." she pointed to a light house. "When I was still single and just dating, there was a bar not far from there, all the guys from the MLC were there. Was fun just to sit and people watch. I swear some of those guys didn't own an actual shirt with buttons." she said with a laugh. "I love this area, feels more like home than home did."
