Dark Conception

[Dominus]

It was the middle of the night, Dominus was laying in bed, sweaty and all but spent next to a naked and equally sweaty and spent Bellatrix. Her red hair was wet and sweaty and clung to her body. Both were breathing heavily as they looked at each other.

"Well now... that was actually better than I had expected Bellatrix. Who knew?" Dominus said with a slight chuckle. "We should probably keep doing this for at least the next few days, just to be sure that conception happened. Then... we remove the fertilized fetus and implant it into a waiting surrogate until such time as we can artificially age our child to a proper age of reason and usefulness. Twins do run in the family as it were."

[Bellatrix]

"You were better than I expected," she said absently. "I pegged for a wham, bam, and done kind of guy. Don't worry, I won't get attached. Not my style. As far as conception goes, I believe the deed has been done."

[Dominus]

"Oh really?" Dominus raised an eyebrow as he propped himself up on his elbow and looked at her. "I am hoping for a male and female but I will take whatever we can get. I am thinking the male child we will keep in reserve as it were to continue the line. Since it is abundantly clear the females of our family are quite capable."

[Bellatrix]

"Quite so. It's unfortunate for you that you never had your own version of an Angel. It pained me greatly to kill her in my own reality." She sighed heavily, "But, she stood by her father to the end, and I thought Sandovals were stubborn."

[Dominus]

"I did... but her sister beat her, survival of the fittest as it were. Nearly killed Jackson, I wish she had, but I think it helped toughen him up, but not enough." Dominus replied. "But I did quite feel jealous of this reality's version of myself, at least his children seemed more loyal and stronger. Why didn't you take the mother too? Angelica always did seem to have a soft spot for your counterpart and you as well, she let her guard down considerably around you." he shrugged his shoulders. "No matter... we'll have our own. Smarter, stronger, more capable, worthy successors to us, worthy lieutenants. And... even more committed to our mission. Might not be a bad idea to clone them while they are still developing, could always use backups, and it'll psychologically torment our enemies. They think they have us, they kill one of our daughters and then... another one pops up with all the previous one's memories and focused on revenge for their prior death. I had tried that, but my mental abilities and my intellect could not quite copy perfectly to the clones, they were always just that much more dim than I was."

[Bellatrix]

Bellatrix smirked, "And there's no room for you to lose any intellect," she teased and tweaked his nipple. "What makes you think our spawn will be any different?"

[Dominus]

"Well the bioelectric enhancements I have don't work very well with engram copy and transfer. It's like taking a book, copying it on an old style copier, but the plate keeps getting bombarded by extra electrical sparks, so you have blank spots on the pages. I had one clone that couldn't figure out how to write, I had another that seemed enough like me, but had the memory of a goldfish." Dominus chuckled. "As for our spawn, that's entirely new ground, I have yet to run into any... well one reality but I never did manage to figure out if they were actually our's or what, they attacked and we blew them out of the stars." he ran his finger across her thigh. "I must say, so many of my counterparts have wasted their time with Julie Lei's and Nancy Peterson variations and random alien women. Either you are exceptional, which I am leaning toward, or perhaps there was a reason why our counterparts have seldom gotten together like this. I'm anxious to find out."

[Bellatrix]

She shrugged, "It is a fascinating thought. Perhaps we are sealing the means to our own destruction."

[Dominus]

"Or perhaps ensuring that our goals come to pass and we sealed the destruction of this universe." Dominus said with a slight smile. "The more galaxies we destroy in other realities, the more power we can tap into." he touched her cheek. "Most powerful Ajem in any reality. That's achievable. And perhaps our progeny will help that. Or we just had an enjoyable few hours. Either way, wasn't a bad use of our time. When we attack the Sol System, we can test our new offspring. See how much chaos they can create."

[Bellatrix]

She frowned, "What is your obsession with that system? With Tiberius and Julie having abdicated their position in life... well the Imperium is hardly a threat now. They are even giving the Brits some independence."
