“Was that your fact? That you find him attractive?” Selene laughed as she took a shot and filled her glass just enough for another. “Oh, Lucius was still a dick but I’m also a cold-hearted killer who has needs. We killed my father. That's my fact by the way. That's two shots now Cross drink up.”

[Clint Cross]

"Hell no I didn't find him attractive." Clint laughed and poured his shots into a glass. "So let's see... well, when we were taking out Bloodstone and Lucius' other lackeys I killed close to a hundred of his agents. Bow and arrow. Maybe a few phaser blasts here and there." he pounded back his shot and shook his head. "Selene and i were matching each other's numbers, although Jackson, the nasty ass Jackson that we dealt with kept telepathically controlling her. And his K'n'zy... controlled me for a while, I cut out this Jack's brother's eye and cut off his hand and mailed it to his father. She had us both under control, but sicced us against each other. Kinda wanted to do that anyway after Marcus nearly blew Mac's arm off and almost killed her. She still has problems with the arm and it's been years now, but I trained her to use her other arm. But yeah... that was probably my most recent heinous thing... oh and I had a daughter with K'n'zy... Solara. Who managed to manipulate her way into a job as the Veep, now President's, secretary. My daughter from an alternate timeline was screwing him in his office and it ended up on the news. Then they made lemonade from lemons and sold a fortune in sexy lingerie. Welcome to the funhouse reality..."

[Liara]

“Jackson…I’m not surprised mind control is his operational standard in my reality. If he can’t then he calls me in.” Selene said as she added what she figured were two additional shots to her glass for a total of three. “You don’t strike as one for dismemberment, so I’ll drink to that one and you’d have to be nuts to have a kid with K’n’zy. Not even Jackson was crazy enough to do that. And I’ll drink to your kid cause she sounds like a smart girl.”

[Clint Cross]

"Oh she is. Solara's a damn literary genius... even if she did make a few questionable choices. She went off with Kinsey's best friend from Xenex and are presumably attempting to give me grandchildren." Clint chuckled lightly. "My other daughter Bella, she came from a reality where she lost... well, you. And Jack and I sent her back in time to fix it. I think because her version of Selene was being controlled by Lucius and ended up killing a bunch of people we cared about. So... I guess time still wants to happen. Although now you're here so... maybe it's the Universe's way of replacing what we lost." he poured himself a shot. "Now our daughter, our actual daughter that she gave birth to... she's an amazing little girl. Took us more than a few miscarriages including one that Jackson put there that didn't take. Found out it was because Jackson put something there or did so that your augment nature would treat any fetus as an invader." he shook his head. "Might want to get that checked out someday. Just in case."

[Liara]

“Shit Cross that’s two shots just for the hell of it.” Selene said as she filled her glass then tossed it back. Jackson, that sick fucker, he would do something twisted like that. She knew she couldn’t have kids it was a byproduct of her profession. You can’t have your agents getting knocked up while on assignment but leave it to Jackson to twist it when he felt his power slipping.

“You might have me beat. Hmmm….never been in love but that’s obvious…No kids but you know that.” Selene said thoughtfully as she gently tapped her glass. "I've killed children but I suspect yours did too. Oh I know Russian. Most useless language to know now but my ballet teacher insisted on speaking it. She also refused to call me Selene. One day she called me Abigail so I killed her."

[Clint Cross]

"Well it IS kind of your birth name, almost named one of our miscarried daughters that." Clint said and sighed. "Yeah... you and I actually wanted kids, in our line of work, it was something we never really thought would happen. But we managed to set up a good network around us and an actual team. Hell that's why I'm a Director and not just 'Agent'. We were just getting Selene back into the field and then that happened. Still yeah... we both killed a lot kids, sort of why we took a bunch under our wings as it were. That and Isabella started this orphan colony, which hit both of us pretty much where it hurts. How many of our assignments created orphans? Hell there are more than a few I know I personally created. Selene too. But what gave us both some measure of hope... we actually saved a lot of lives so... the red is slowly but surely getting wiped out. "

[Liara]

“Abigail was weak and my father was a cruel man. There was nothing about her I wanted to keep or be reminded of.” Selene said as she filled her glass and drank deeply. “Lucius chose my name when I started my training.”

[Clint Cross]

"Well that's your choice. You kept Selene because it was something you made for yourself. Noonian slips and calls you Abigail, but the old man IS like four hundred years old. Still, this version of him is pretty cool. But your choice if you want to get to know him or not." Clint said as he refilled his glass. "You've got students that pretty much idolize you here... so you may have to get used to being compared to her. Our adopted son James... who's sort of a TIberius Kirk clone but nice... he's taken to wearing her old widow's bites gauntlets and carrying one of her guns. Which I opposed but then again he does work in the President's office so... it's not a bad idea. Smart kid."

[Liara]

“You have a very complicated life Cross.” Selene observed as she took another drink and refilled her glass. She shook the bottle and then cooked her head. “We should have talked that bartender of yours into two bottles and do you intend to answer that tonight? I assume the buzzing is your comm device. It's gone off a few times already.”

[Clint Cross]

"Oh shit..." Clint muttered as he went and pulled it out of his pocket. "Had the thing on buzz, you know Lanara you always manage to distract me juuuust enough to get me into trouble. Like when Selene tried to kill me. More than once." he thumbed through the messages. "Ohhh Bella is pissed... I'd go 'hey come with me, be my back up in case she tries to kill me' but you'd probably help her."
