When it Happens (Don't Mind Me)

[Liara]

“You know I wasn’t expecting this.” Selene said as she sat up and look at him. She laughed nervously. “I actually thought I have a bit of fun with you, wear you out, and check out my gear while you slept. I didn’t expect you to get in there Cross. I wasn’t ready for it.”

[Clint Cross]

"Same here... I mean I did try to say no..." Clint chuckled nervously. "If you want me to leave I will. Let you process it all. Granted I don't like just... running off. Other than K'n'zy... I kinda tend to stick around."

[Liara]

“Did you now?” Selene inquired with a slight smirk. “I don’t recall you ever actually saying no. Are you accusing me of forcing myself upon you?”

[Clint Cross]

"What the Black Widow wants the Black Widow tends to get." Clint said. "And it would not be the first time that a woman in black basically told me to shut up and dance. Guess I'm well trained."

[Liara]

“You just made that up, didn’t you?” Selene laughed. “Please don’t leave.” She said softly looking into his eyes.

[Clint Cross]

"I won't then." Clint replied and touched her face. "As long as I'm out before breakfast. I did promise I'd show up tonight so I better make sure I'm there. And... I probably won't say who I spent the night with. Not yet at least."

[Liara]

“Probably a good idea.” She said leaning into his touch. “How long until you have to go?”

[Clint Cross]

"Hmm.. .about like five hours or so." Clint glanced at the clock. "That's factoring in a shower and change of clothes and feeding you before I go." he winked his eye. "Jon and Bella usually always have a spread in the morning, especially with all the kids they're watching now. James is starting to get into that teenager 'eat everything that doesn't move' phase."

[Liara]

“Good then I have three options for you.” Selene said as she counted them off on her fingers. “One, we stay up and you tell me about you. Two, we go for another round. Or…three we go to sleep so you're rested for breakfast with your daughter.”

[Clint Cross]

"Well we COULD do all three... if you think you're actually up to number two. But we could do one and I only really sleep a few hours anyway." Clint replied. "I'm usually up early anyway. And I can always sit in on one of Director Decker's intelligence briefings and catch a couple winks."
