[Tess Ryder]

"And call me if anything changes. Thankfully my own date doesn't quite mind when I get calls." Tess said and glanced at Clint. "Seriously, notice anything weird, call me. I'm a night owl."

[Clint Cross]

"Thanks again Doc." Clint said as he go this pants on and pulled on his t-shirt. "Yeah... work out that does seem like a good idea. Even half dead I still have energy. Weird."

"That'll happen... so you said you saw Selene?" Tess smiled slightly.

"Yeah... kind of gave her 'okay' on all this." Clint said and rubbed his head. "Felt so real."

[Liara]

"You sure his head is okay?" Selene inquired with a smirk.

[Clint Cross]

"Oh very funny." Clint said and stood up and walked over to her. "I was having doubts, if this... was just me not being able to get over her, but... it's different. We both need this. Granted lethal sex isn't exactly what either of us had in mind but... I'm not running away from this." he put his hand on her shoulder. "Although I do agree with the Doc, we should use the gym, purge our bodies of this stuff quicker. Besides, I have yet to see you in action. How do I know you're on our Selene's level?" he teased and bumped shoulders with her. "And how do you know I'm not just talk when it comes to my own skills huh?"

"Just don't overdo it... " Tess said and shook her head. "Have fun you two." she tapped her wrist and beamed out.

"I didn't want to say anything while she was here, but she was totally in the middle of more than just a date." Clint chuckled. "Is everyone getting some tonight?"

[Liara]

"I could smell it." Selene laughed softly as she looked down at her hands. "I'm sorry... If I'd known I never would have...I should have known something was wrong sooner."

[Clint Cross]

"It's alright, we didn't know, we both kept drinking that stuff." Clint said as he downed a glass of water in two gulps. "You sure lived up to the code name there." he chuckled lightly. "Well, that's one thing you did that she never did, she never did get me to actually kinda be medically 'dead' for a minute. Tell you what... we don't drink that stuff without medical on standby and we just work out to burn off our energy... and I spend the night here again. Anything happens to either of us, we can call Tess back."

[Liara]

Selene nodded and looked into his eyes.

"Did she say anything else?" Selene inquired. "Your wife."

[Clint Cross]

"Just that you may need me more than she did." Clint replied. "And seeing her again, felt a little like... closure. I agree, I think we both need each other. Like I said before, we take it a day at a time. Not asking you to be mother to my kids or the next Mrs. Cross, but I think we both need a partner and a guide."

[Liara]

"One day at time." Selene agreed. "But you have to do one thing for me Cross...don't die anytime soon. I...I didn't like the way it made me feel. I know in our line of work that’s not always easy but I know how much you enjoy a challenge.”

[Clint Cross]

Clint held onto her hands and looked into her eyes. "I will greatly try not to. Same to you too huh?" he smiled slightly. "I'm not going to go anywhere."
