Temp Fix

[Liara]

“Just in time I was about to take it off without you.” Selene smirked.

[Clint Cross]

"Wouldn't have missed it." Clint replied. "So, you tap the retract armor button on your gauntlet's display. The cool thing is when it all sorta melts into the bands. A lot of people just wear the boots and gauntlets with their regular uniform and then armor up as needed." he tapped the button and instantly the armor started to melt off her and almost in a liquid metal fashion moved to her arms. "Just make sure you're wearing something underneath." he smiled and looked at her. "That's one thing we've been all about since well... the whole Dominus thing started. Protecting our people especially those that matter the most to us." he held her hands. "And you're starting to matter a lot to me."

[Liara]

“So it’s good I kept the lacy underwear on.” Selene said looking into his eyes.

[Clint Cross]

"Indeed... " Clint said as he glanced down at her and back up to her eyes. "Not that I'm expecting you to wear armor when you're going out for ice cream, but... it's available." he smiled slightly. "Still proud of you though. You won Noonian over. This stays between us but... he's been struggling with his 'Khan' side for a while. How he was, what he did. After his Selene died we both got reeeally drunk and he told me that he always feared regressing to that. Now... facing your father... kinda think he got that closure. He had a bit of his old fire back."

[Liara]

“He may have won me over as well.” Selene said with a smile. “So...I matter a lot to you?”

[Clint Cross]

"You do. It's been kind of refreshing... so much is new to you here. Things we've started to take a little for granted." Clint replied. "We all came with baggage into this relationship, but there's still something different about all this and I'm looking forward to exploring it. But as today clearly proved, this is why I don't just play the long game, there's no time for that anymore. Hiding what we feel. Every single day has to be taken on its own. Not waiting on some... tomorrow to come that may never come." he chuckled and shook his head. "You went out for ice cream and nearly got killed and your evil father nearly blew up half of downtown. Our lives are insane. So yeah... let's just be honest with each other tell each other what we're feeling and damn the rest. You're part of this family. This team."

[Liara]

“You matter to me too.” Selene said and kissed him softly.

[Clint Cross]

"So after this weekend... maybe we figure out the whole living arrangements thing." Clint said as he kissed her lips. "This house is going to be livable again. So y'know we won't have to live out of the workshop."

[Liara]

“Are you asking me to move in?” Selene inquired.

[Clint Cross]

"If you want to... its getting clearer that we're spending most of our time together." Clint replied. "Can still keep the place above Joe's if you just need a place of your own but... just making the offer. We'll see how the rest of the weekend goes." he chuckled lightly. "I'm sure Bella would think I'm nuts but... it feels right."
